SUMMARY:Rubber Tire Peep Show
DESCRIPTION:In 2024\, RTPS set out on two successful multi-provincial tours\, selling out shows across B.C\, Alberta\, Nova Scotia\, and Ontario in support of their debut\, self-titled record. The group has garnered great attention over the past year\, including features from EXCLAIM! Magazine\, CBC Radio 1\, and even most recently Halifax Music Archives’ Best of 2024. After closing out the summer with a sold-out homecoming show in Toronto\, a main stage slot at Highlands Music Festival and landing an opening slot for Sloan this past fall\, the band was invited to kick off the New Year with a milestone co-headlining performance at Massey Hall’s state-of-the-art venue extension\, TD Music Hall. \nThe “Peep Show” is best known for their commitment to the live show and constantly work to bring their audience a unique experience on any given night\, curating both in-studio and live collaborations with an ever growing roster of artists and musicians. Collaborators spanning from local talents of stops along tour\, to notable names of Canada’s music scene such as Tower of Power’s Jordan John\, Matt Mays\, and members of The Trews to mention a few. \nLed by founding members Harrison Smith and Liam Slingerland\, alongside “usual suspects”; Max Swiderski\, Patrick Fockler\, and David Matta\, the band is now at work producing new music. Come Spring 2025\, RTPS is setting out on a large-scale tour across Canada in support of their upcoming releases\, with shows as far West as Tofino B.C\, and as East as Halifax Nova Scotia. We are excited to have them perform for their first time at the Dinghy Dock Pub on June 26!
